Laser marking

The marking laser can be used to mark a wide range of materials.
With some materials, different colors can even be created using annealing marking.
The laser uses bundled light to create a surface change through melting, vaporization or chemical modification.
We have a controlled rotary axis so that round geometries can also be marked.
As our marking laser is located in a closed laser cabin without a housing, we can also mark very large workpieces inside.
The maximum size of the marking field is 150 x 150 mm.
The advantages :

  • Many materials
  • Fonts, images, barcodes
  • Hardly any graphic limits

Whether a workpiece can be marked with the laser depends on the material and the surface.
If in doubt, we test beforehand whether the desired marking can be applied.

What can laser marking do

Laser labeling

Different fonts, images, barcodes – there are virtually no limits to the geometry of the lettering.
The typeface is perceptible on the surface, as material is also removed.

Materials

  • Titanium, titanium alloys
  • Aluminum
  • Non-ferrous metals
  • Coated materials
  • Various tool and stainless steels

Laser annealing marking

Different colors can be created with annealing lettering without removing any material.
This means that the lettering cannot be felt on the surface.

Engravings

Our marking laser can also engrave.
The higher power also results in material removal.
This means that not only images or lettering can be applied to the workpiece so that they are permanently legible, but surfaces can also be conditioned.

Materials

  • Tool steels
  • Titanium and titanium alloys
  • Aluminum
  • Steels
